Katie Long, AIA, NCARB

Architect

Katie Long is a licensed architect at Marcus Gleysteen Architects, where she works on custom residential projects throughout New England. She brings a genuine commitment to residential design – a careful attentiveness to how people actually live, and the discernment to translate that into homes that feel right. She works closely with clients from the earliest conversations through construction, and finds that direct engagement to be one of the most meaningful parts of the work.

Katie holds CAPS certification (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) and brings particular care to homes that can adapt as clients’ needs change over time. She also leads the firm’s marketing, communications, and business development.

She holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College. She lives and works on the Connecticut shoreline.
