Erik Stockler

Our most recent addition to the MGa team, Erik, arrives with nearly a decade of architectural design experience, ranging from custom residential in Walpole, NH to museum competitions in Paris, France.

Originally from the Midwest, Erik began his career at an architecture firm in Kansas City, working on commercial, civic, historic renovations and higher education projects. In 2020, Erik moved to New England to work as a project designer for a design/build firm specializing in custom timberframe homes that implement passive house standards. While there, he became acquainted with building in the rugged, mountainous regions of Vermont and New Hampshire as well as the oceanic, coastal regions of Maine and Massachusetts.

Erik graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Kansas, spending a semester at Paris Val De Seine while interning at a renowned design firm in the heart of the city.

With family roots tying back to Denmark and Finland, Erik draws much of his design inspiration from the rationalization of biological forms that tie us and our built environment to nature. He spends much of his free time sculpting, sketching, building furniture, hiking in national parks, playing guitar, and not to mention the occasional beer and trivia.
